If you are resident in the Marbella district and have registered with your local Town Hall, you can have the right to vote in the local elections. Voting gives you the opportunity to make your voice heard and is important if you want to make a difference in your local community.
The council have tried to make it as easy as possible for foreign residents to be involved by offering the option to vote by mail as well as in person.
Please note, your name must be included on the municipal census and you need to be properly registered in order to vote. To make sure you can, visit the registration office (“Departamento de Padrón”) from the Town Hall.
