The Guardian revealed in August that many UK universities are over subscribed and predicts as many as 225,000 students being turned away. This is leading students to open their mind to different possibilities and consider studying abroad. Marbella University, which teaches all it’s courses in English has seen a surge in applicants on the back of this news and only has opening for a few courses on their October in-take.
An influx of students will be great for the area, as they will be taking advantage of the nightlife and injecting new energy and resources into the area. There is a potential opportunity for long-term rental revenue from this source if you can price your property competitively and can cater for groups of students.
