More good news for the Marbella region was announced in July with Malaga FC’s owner Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Thani revealing his ambitious plans to build a second Puerto Banus style complex in Marbella’s Bajadilla marina.
This marina is one of two small marinas in Marbella and is located next to the fishing port at the east of the town. It currently has over 250 berths a restaurant and some facilities for the boats, but very little else and so is ripe for a makeover.
According to Spanishnews.es “The project would require an investment of 70 million euros and include the expansion of the marina with 400 additional moorings for small and medium-sized yachts”. Obviously large scale investments such as this is great for the area, will generate much needed construction jobs and encourage more tourists to visit.
