We currently advertise our managed rental proprieties on our group website (www.holidayrentalontheweb.com) and on three leading rentals channels: TripAdisor (and associated portals); AirBnb and HomeAway.

Each of these booking channels has a choice of cancellation policies, ranging from relaxed and moderate through to strict. These policies are detailed below.

Relaxed#
Holidaymakers who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount that they’ve paid. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they’ll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won’t get a refund.

Moderate 
Provided that the guest pays the full balance on time, they can receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid by the cancellation date (less traveller booking fee) if they cancel at least four weeks before check-in.
Flexible
Provided that the guest pays the full balance on time, they can receive (less traveller booking fee):
a 50% refund of the total amount paid by the cancellation date if they cancel at least four weeks before check-in.
a 25% refund of the total amount paid by the cancellation date if they cancel at least two weeks before check-in.
Relaxed #
Provided that the guest pays the full balance on time, they receive a 100% refund of the total amount paid by the cancellation date if they cancel at least two weeks before check-in (less traveller booking fee).

Strict#
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
Moderate
Full refund 5 days prior to arrival
Moderate or Non-refundable
In addition to Moderate, offer a non-refundable option—guests pay 10% less, but you keep your payout no matter when they cancel
Flexible
Full refund 1 day prior to arrival

In addition to Flexible, offer a non-refundable option—guests pay 10% less, but you keep your payout no matter when they cancel.

Firm
Holidaymakers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount that they’ve paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they’ll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won’t get a refund.
Moderate
Holidaymakers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount that they’ve paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they’ll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won’t get a refund.
Relaxed#
Holidaymakers who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount that they’ve paid. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they’ll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won’t get a refund.
