This modern and new build three-bedroom apartment is situated in the residential urbanization of Le Mirage III in Cancelada, Estepona and is part of the “New Golden Mile” on the Costa del Sol. Awaiting it’s first visitors, it is perfectly located for golfers looking to enjoy some of the best courses in Spain and is no more than a 10-minute drive from the beautiful courses of Los Flamingos and Alferini with Marbella Club even closer. Finca Cortesin, where the Solheim Cup is being held in 2023, is 20 mins away and the classic courses at Valderrama and Sotogrande around a 30-minute drive.

The complex is also ideal for families and offers manned security gates, a beautiful communal pool (with lifeguard) and children’s play area. The apartment is arranged over one floor and is situated on the first floor with access by lift or stairs. The accommodation offers a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a spacious, tastefully furnished, lounge with smart TV.

The lounge and master bedroom both provide access to the west facing terrace which has its own dining table and chairs, a large sofa and two sunbeds. This sizable terrace is another of the apartment’s highlights, with wonderful, uninterrupted, views across the countryside to the mountains, where you can watch the sun set in the evening. If your preference is to enjoy the sun from the privacy of the terrace, it has the sun from mid-morning through to late evening, depending on the time of year.
There is a secure, and very convenient, underground, parking space allocated to the flat, available to those renting the property. Access is via remote entry from the street and there is a lift from the basement parking area direct to the first-floor apartments.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed, fitted wardrobes, an en suite shower room and (as mentioned) has access to the terrace. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and fitted wardrobes and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. Both these bedrooms share the use of the bathroom fitted with a bath with overhead shower unit.

The area of Cancelada is perfectly situated on the “New Golden Mile” between Marbella to the east (25 mins) and Estepona to the west (15 mins). The very attractive locations of Puerto Banus and Benahavis are also within a 15-minute drive away and while a car is definitely recommended while staying in Cancelada the area is well supported by various taxi services and a local bus.
In addition to the wonderful golf courses already mentioned, courses such as El Paraiso, Atalaya (2 courses), Valle Romano and Los Arqueros are all fairly local to the area together with around 70 other courses on the Costa del Sol.

Cancelada is a lovely quaint town with many amenities including quality restaurants and bars, within walking distance from the apartment. It is also supported by a large supermarket and bank nearby. This area offers many activities including the Selwo Adventure Park, the Royal School of Horse riding, tennis, and beautiful beaches to relax on. Estepona, approximately a 15-minute drive away, is a sizeable yet charming town. It has largely avoided overbuilding and has lovely rural and unspoilt stretches of beach, with two being awarded the EC Blue Flags. The town is full of traditional bars, restaurants and shops lining the quaint cobbled streets and picturesque squares, as well as the smart seafront promenade featuring a children’s play area. There is also a bustling sports marina with bars, cafés and restaurants, and a regular street market.

Another area close by and worth a visit, is San Pedro with its large pedestrianised area making it a safe and pleasant environment to visit with no main road passing through it. A popular and enjoyable walk is from the centre of San Pedro town to the beachfront along the Avenida del Marques del Duero which is a particularly attractive wide avenue flanked by palm trees. And the modern wide promenade is ideal for continuing your stroll (or skateboarding!) with several excellent chiringuitos (beach side restaurants) specialising in fish dishes.
Cancelada offers a great location to base yourself to explore everything the Costa del Sol, and beyond, has to offer anyone visiting this beautiful Spanish Coastline and we are offering the comfort and convenience of this wonderful apartment to do it from!
