The law regarding payments of tax in Spain for property rentals has been amended. We believe this is good news for our owners because, if you are a non-resident, you can offset all legitimate expenses against your rental income, such as management fees, mortgage interest, community fees, etc.HomeCareontheWeb are now offering a service to help you present your tax returns, many of which have to be submitted quarterly. Our charges for this service are:

  • 125 Euros plus IVA tax for a single name on the property deeds per submission
  • 140 Euros plus IVA tax for 2 names on the property deeds per submission

The prices are our standard fee, subject to information on the property being reasonably available.

  1. Regarding payments of tax in Spain for property rentals.

    Net profit is income less eligible expenditures such as Basura Payments and Community Fees (see note 2). My impression is that these rules do not concern me as a citizen of Norway (not an EU-country). Is this a correct assumption? If it is not the case can you verify thar this rules also concern me.
