HomeCareontheWeb organise and play in The British Chamber of Commerce Spain’s Centenary Golf TournamentMarch 2008
As active members of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain, HomeCareontheWeb were proud to help organise the Chamber’s special ‘Centenary Golf Tournament’, which was held on Friday 7th March 2008 at the Marbella Golf and Country Club to mark the beginning of their special centenary programme.
The tournament attracted over 70 players from a wide variety of companies from the Costa del Sol, including our own HomeCareontheWeb team of Tony Sidebottom, Colin Williams and Mathew Lund.
Other well-known corporations such as Lloyds TSB Spain, Coutts, Irwin Mitchell, Survey Spain, Andalucia.com and KSi Costa Consulting Group also took part.
The format was a ‘Shotgun’ start with tee-off at 9:45am, followed by a luncheon and the presentation of trophies and prizes.
Lloyds TSB Spain was the exclusive sponsor of the tournament, and the prize-giving ceremony was led by their main representative, Valerie Broom, assisted by Charlotte Fraser-Prynne from the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain’s head office in Barcelona, and Tony Sidebottom, HomeCareontheWeb’s MD.
The Sovereign Group team won the first prize trophy, with medals for each team member, plus MedGroup’s sponsored prize of four weekends of golf, including green fees, at La Manga Club.
Lloyds TSB were runners-up, winning medals and a selection of Burberry products.
The Alanda Group team came in third, winning medals and a selection of Grey Goose products.
Individual prizes also went to Andre Jenkinson for ‘nearest the pin’, Jorge Taillefer for ‘longest drive male’ and Helen Butterfield for ‘longest drive female’.
HomeCareontheWeb MD Tony Sidebottom commented: ‘Even though our team came away empty-handed, it was a thoroughly entertaining day for all who took part, and a great way to start the Chamber’s centenary celebrations. As far as the Andalucian section of the Chamber are concerned this is the first of many such events designed to promote the Chamber, its services and its membership. Participants will be pleased to know that the next golf tournament is already in the plans for the coming year!’

New staff November 2007
It’s not just maintaining the quality and level of service we offer that’s key to HomeCare’s ongoing success, it’s also about having great people on board to deliver those services.
As part of our recent expansion, we’ve recruited yet more talented new members of staff. Meet Adi, Mitzi, Denise and Matthew who’ve recently joined our friendly HomeCareontheWeb Property Management team.
New offices opened November 2007
In addition to our two HomeCareontheWeb offices in Elviria, we’ve now opened a third office in Centro Comercial La Galera Park, Estepona.
This means we can now offer our full range of Property Management, Rentals Management, and Property Sales services more readily to those of you who are based at the western end of the Costa del Sol.
Our new office can be found just five kilometres west of Estepona, on the main N-340/A7 coast road at km 148,5.
To get there, take the exit at the roundabout by the Clive Christian kitchen showroom, head up the hill towards the mountains for a few metres, then take the first turning on your right, and follow the road round to the right.
Our office is the second on the left, immediately next door to CAM Bank.
